Baby Alpaca by Valeria di Roma are yarn balls specially thought for kids and babies. It is made by high quality natural fibres, with a little quantity of polyamide that gives elasticity to knit easily.

Its excellent softness given by its natural fibres makes it perfect to every kind of skins, including the sensitives and delicates skins, like the babies’.

These natural fibres have the Superwash treatment, so you will be able to wash your sewing pieces in the washing machine without any problem.

You can use this yarn to knit all kind of pieces. Its colour range offers hundreds of combinations to knit your clothes.

• 50% Merino Wool
• 35% Alpaca baby
• 15% Polyamide

The baby alpaca fibre comes from the first shear of the animal, so it is a softer and thin fibre that gives a sweet touch to your sewing pieces.

It gives also a higher quality.

The merino wool is made by other softer fibres. It gives an excellent softness to your clothes. In addition, it has somer thermal properties, so it will keep you warm in the coldest days of the year.

Its little polyamide quantity gives a flexible yarn. So it is really comfortable to wear. In addition, it has a little fullness.

All these fibres are really light, so you will feel really comfortable wearing clothes knitted with Baby Alpaca by Valeria di Roma.

• Each ball has 50 grams and 155 metres.
• It thin thickness is recommended to knit with the 3.5 - 4.5 mm.
• You will need 3 and 4 balls to knit a long sleeves pull for a kid.
• Mount 21 stitches and do 30 laps to knit a 10 x 10  cm square.
• It has de Superwash treatment.
• It is suitable to be washed in the washing machine at 30ºC.
• You can iron it at low temperatures.
• Do not dry it in the dryer.
• We recommend you to dry it horizontally.
• Made in Spain.
