Schachenmayr Wash+Filz-it! Multicolor is a marbled wool, available in different colour combinations. It is ideal for felting, knitting or crocheting.

The projects knitted with this yarn will shrink 30% to 40% depending on your washing machine and the washing program at a temperature of approximately 40 °C. Knit your garments into oversized pieces and wash them to get the perfect results!

This yarn has been designed for felting in the washing machine.

Schachenmayr Wash+Filz-it! Multicolor characteristics:

  • Composition: 100% virgin wool.
  • Each ball contains 50 metres and 50 grammes approximately.
  • Knitting needles or crochet hooks size: 8 – 9 mm.
  • Tension square: 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in), 11 stitches x 16 rows.
  • Once the garment has been felted, it must be hand-washed.
  • Do not tumble dry.
  • Do not iron.

You can create a pair of slippers with Schachenmayr Wash+Filz-it! Multicolor yarn or Wash+Filz-it! yarn using 200 grammes approximately.
