Schachenmayr Wash+Filz-it!

Schachenmayr Wash+Filz-it! is a machine wash felting yarn you can use to knit or to crochet voluminous and felted pieces of clothing.

The projects knitted with this yarn will shrink 30% to 40% when you wash them in the washing machine at a temperature of 40ºC approximately. The shrinking will depend on the washing program.

Knit your garments into oversized pieces and wash them to get the perfect results!

Schachenmayr Wash+Filz-it! characteristics:

• Composition: 100% virgin wool.
• Each ball contains 50 metres and 50 grammes approximately.
• Knitting needles or crochet hooks size: 8 – 9 mm.
• Tension square: 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in), 11 stitches x 16 rows.
• Once the garment has been felted, it must be hand washed.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Do not iron.

You can create a pair of slippers with Wash+Filz-it! yarn using 200 grammes approximately.

You can knit different projects with this Schachenmayr yarn like, hats, scarves, snoods, ponchos, pullovers, etc. You can also use it to create bags, slippers and home décor elements.
