Katia Silky Lace

Silky Lace of Katia Yarns is a  Concept by Katia yarn, it is made by Merino Extrafine and Silk, it is perfect to the coldest seasons like autumn and winter. It is a thin, silky and soft yarn and also with an nice and warm touch.

The composition of this yarn is:

• 80% Merino Extrafine
• 20% Silk

The Merino Extrafine wool is a kind of yarn very soft and it has many qualities. It is warm due to its thermal properties, absorb the humidity and is perfect for sensitive skins.

The silk is a good thermal insulation material, it is natural, very light, comfortable and shiny. The two fibres  combination is perfect to knit any clothes you like. You can knit scarfs, pulls, jackets and more clothes.

You should know that Katia Silky Lace...

• Its thickness is perfect to do your sewing pieces with the 3 - 3½ mm knitting needles  or with a crochet hook of 2½ - 3 mm.
• Each ball contains 50 grams and around 260 metres.
• To knit a 10 x 10 cm square, you will need mount 34 stitches and work 26 laps.
• To make a long sleeves pull size 42 you need 5 balls.
