Katia Big Merino

Big Merino of Katia. These yarn balls allow to wash the sewing pieces in te washing machine because it is made by Superwash wool, a yarn with a big percentage of natural fibres. That means that  the natural fibres give to the sewing pieces convenience to washed them and also softness and high quality. 

It is one of the depth yarn of all Merino wools. It is specially to knit shelter clothes like scarfs, collars, gloves, dresses, pulls and waistcoats, or home accessories like cushions, blankets, flowerpots or amigurumis.

Katia Big Merino yarn is made by:

• 55% Natural Merino wool
• 45% Acrylic

It has a high content of natural Merino wool, that contributes to give a lot of benefits to the weaves made with it. Soft, pleasant, elastic, good thermal regulator and more advantages.

You should know that Katia Big Merino...

• Each ball has 100 grams and 80 metres.
• It is recommend to knit with the 6½ - 7 mm knitting needles.
• It has a huge colour variety to choose.
• It is recommendable use the delicate program of your washing machine at 30ºC. 
• To knit a long sleeves pull size 42 you will need 8 balls.
• To make a 10 x 10 cm square, using the 7 mm knitting needles, you should mount 10 stitches and do 15 laps.
  

With the thickness of this yarn, you can knit a lot of sewing pieces, choosing between a lot of different colours.
