Drops Polaris

Polaris by Drops Garn Studio is an extra depth yarn. Its thickness is similar to the Super Bulky or Jumbo yarns and it is perfect to knit with the 12 mm knitting needles.

Its composition makes it an excellent yarn to make felt. So you will have compact and warm clothes for the winter days.

The yarn Drops Polaris is made by:

• 100% Wool

This yarn is spinning in just one strand. Its fibres have not been chemically treated before the dying. So it conserves its natural wool qualities.

Some colours combs different colour fibres on the same strand, giving a speckled appearance.

You should know that Polaris…

• Each ball has 100 grams and 36 metres.
• Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 12 mm knitting needles.
• Mount 8 stitches and do 16 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.
• We recommend you to wash it hand wash at 30ºC maximum.
• It can be ironed at low temperatures.
• We recommend to dry it horizontally.
• You will need 2 balls to knit a cap.
• If you want to knit a long sleeves pull, size M you will need more or less 10 balls.
• To knit a long jacket, size M-L you will need 20 balls.
