Drops Nord

Drops Nord of Gran Studio is a soft yarn perfect to knit fine and warm clothes for autumn and winter. With a thin thickness and a comfortable texture you can create pulls, cardigans, caps, slippers, gloves and other clothes and accessories for adults.

This yarn is used with the Jacquard stitch, also known as nordic clothes. Its thickness and its wide range of colours allows you to work with several threads and to get beautiful mixtures of colours.

The Drops Nord yarn is made by:

• 45% Alpaca
• 30% Polyamide
• 25% Wool

The great warmth offered by this yarn is due to this combination of fibers. The alpaca fiber and yarn have great thermic qualities that will keep your body temperature steady.

The polyamide gives you comfort and flexibility.

You should know that Drops Nord…

• Each ball has 50 grams and 170 metres.

• Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 3 mm knitting needles.
• Mount 24 stitches and do 32 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.
• It is recommended to hand washing.
• It cannot be ironned.
• Do not use the dryer.
• We recommend you to dry it horizontally.
• To knit a woman long-sleeved pull you will need 450 – 500 grams.
• To knit a pair of socks you will need 100 grams.
• To knit a baby romper size 18 months you will need 200 grams.
• To knit a baby romper size 18 months – 4 years you will need 300 grams.

You can use this yarn to create any kind of cloth for adults. Its softness and warmth is perfect for warming you in the coldest days.
