Drops Melody

Melody by Drops Garn Studio is a long thin soft hair yarn, perfect to knit cloths, complements or accessories with a soft touch and texture.

If you like to be warm with light cloths, you will love this yarn. Its long hair offers this thin fantasy yarn. Your cloths will be comfortable, warm and nice to wear on cold days.

The yarn Drops Melody is made by:

• 71% Alpaca
• 25% Merino wool
• 4% Polyamide

The alpaca fibre offer lightness to this yarn. In addition, it offers a soft thin strand. Due to the merino wool, this yarn is really sweet. The fibres mixture offer thin and warm cloths, so your sew pieces will have a nice and warm touch.

You should know that Melody…

• Each ball has 50 grams and 140 metres.
• This is a thin yarn, so we recommend you to knit it with the 7 mm needles.
• To knit a 10 x 10 cm square you will have to mount 14 stitches and do 19 laps.
• You will need 4 – 5 balls to knit a long sleeves pull size M – L.
• To knit a 90 x 132 cm blanket, you will need 4 balls.
• We recommend you to wash it hand wash at 30ºC maximum.
• It cannot be ironed.
• Do not dry it in the dryer, but horizontally.
• This yarn is made in Peru.

It is recommendable to knit with double strand combining it with a basic yarn. That will give a different texture and appearance. Your cloths will be softer and with a lot of volume.
