Drops Alaska

Alaska by Drops Gran Studio is a really especial basic yarn, completely made bay natural wool, so it offers cloths that have not been chemically treated. That means that it is a better form and quality yarn.

This yarn has a really original twist made of three strands. Your cloths made with this yarn will have different and original textures. In addition, it is available in a huge colour range, where you will be able to choose your favourite. Some of the balls have soft colour mixtures that will give you beautiful cloths.

• 100% Wool

This fibre has not been chemically treated while is dyed, so it has better characteristics and qualities. It offers a better form, touch and quality.

You should know that Alaska…

• Each ball has 50 grams and 70 metres.
• We recommend you to use the 5 mm knitting needles.
• To knit a 10 x 10 cm square, mount 17 stitches and do 22 laps.
• You should wash it hand wash up to 30ºC.
• It is not suitable to use the dryer, but dry it horizontally.
• It is an especial yarn to make felt.
• Is is made in de EU.
• This yarn has the Oeko-Tex® certificate 25.3.0099.
• If you want to knit a long sleeves pull size M, you will need 14 balls.
• You will need 2 balls to knit a cap.
• To knit a collar, you will need between 3 and 4 balls.
