Drops Air

Air by Drops Garn Studio yarns is a blown medium-thick yarn made by baby alpaca and merino wool. Being a blown yarn means that it is made by just one blown, through a mesh, fibres strand.

That gives a yarn that has not been twisted, it is made with just one natural fibres strand. It is very light.

In addition, it gives a softer and more durable fibre to knit your clothes.

Knitting other kind of twisted yarns, the strand can open an it is more difficult to work with.

This kind of blown yarns allows you to knit more comfortably, because the strand fibres will not open. You will be able to knit by crocheting or by knitting all kind of sewing pieces.

The yarn Drops Air is made by:

• 70% Alpaca
• 23% Polyamide
• 7% Wool

These fibres offer warm and soft clothes with a rustic appearance. The baby alpaca and the merino wool, are really soft fibres with a soft touch, that combined give light and fluffy clothes.

They are perfect to knit warm clothes that will keep you warm in autumn and winter.

They regulate perfectly your body temperature, so it will keep you perfectly warm.

Its composition is totally hypoallergenic, so it is perfect to be in contact with all kind of skins.

You should know that Air de Drops...

• Each ball has 50 grams and 150 metres.
• Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 5 mm knitting needles.
• To knit a collar you will need 2 balls.
• You need 7 balls to knit a long sleeves pull size M-L.
• You will need 3 balls to knit a jacket and a cap for a 6-9-months-old baby.
• to knit a 10 x 10 cm square you have to mount 17 stitches and do 22 laps.
• We recommend you to wash it by hand.
• Do not iron it.
• Do not dry it in the dryer.
• We recommend you to wash it horizontally.
• Made in Peru.
