Gütermann Maraflex

Gütermann Maraflex is an elastic thread for sewing, which can be used with household sewing machines. An excellent option for working elastic seams keeping their shape perfectly. The seams will not tear easily!

This flexible thread can be used in elastic fabrics, knitted pieces, and other materials. The seams will accompany each of your movements!

This thread is made of 100% polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), manufactured with Gütermann's exclusive Micro Core Technology® process, based on a coating with polyester microfilaments, which achieves great elasticity and resistance. Maraflex is a perfect stretch option even with low double stitch densities. This specialty thread is ideal for knitted pieces, elastic fabrics, sport clothes, underwear, swimwear, shoes and leather materials.

Maraflex is recommended for sewing with the lowest possible thread tension. Optimal seam elasticity is achieved with only 4 stitches per centimeter!
