Scheepjes Stone Washed

Scheepjes Stone Washed is very similar to Spirit and Stone Washed XL.

It’s a nice yarn, perfect for knitting all kind of warm winter clothes, such as sweaters, scarves, snoods or shawls.

This yarn changes its colour giving a gradient or denim finish to the ball.

Its strand consists of several interwoven strands forming a tubular mesh. In case, the yarn unrolls down, it won’t detach in several threads. This form will prevent that the yarns get mixed once you start knitting.

Scheepjes Stone Washed is made of:

• 78% cotton
• 22% acrylic

This is a soft, nice yarn made of cotton and acrylic fibres characterised by its high-quality and wash and iron resistant.  

You should know that Scheepjes Stone Washed …

• Each ball has 50 grams and 130 metres.
• Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 3 – 3.5 mm knitting needles or crochet hooks.
• Mount 24 stitches and do 32 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square with the 3mm knitting needles.
• It can be washed in the washing machine up to 40ºC.
• It can be ironned at a medium temperature 140ºC.
• Do not use the dryer. We recommend you to dry it horizontally without hanging out.
