Scheepjes CKAL 2024 - Cojín Blue Tit

With this kit you will be able to participate in the Scheepjes CKAL 2024 Dawn Chorus Cojín Blue Tit and knit an amazing knit or crochet cushion… choose your favourite technique and sign up as soon as possible! The CKAL begins on 17th April 2024 and has a duration of 4 weeks.

As soon as you get the kit, you will have access to the Facebook Scheepjes Group, where a part of the pattern will be shared weekley. This allows knitters all over the world to knit at the same time, asking any doubts or sharing their experience and tips or advice.

During the four weeks of the CKAL useful tips, videos and photos will be shared to help you in your creation experience. The instructions will be available in English, Dutch and German. It will normally be shared every wednesday at 12:00 noon.

This kit allows you to choose between a Crochet-A-long (CAL) or Knit-A-Long (KAL), so the explanations will be available for both knitting and crochet.

In this Kit you will find all the materials to create a 45 x 45 cushion with a blue tint print designed by Liz Barraclough. This beautiful bird with blue, yellow and green feathers gives a unique touch to your cushion. You will love it!

Contents of the Scheepjes CKAL 2024 Dawn Chorus - Blue Tit Kit Cushion:

• 3 Scheepjes Scrumptious Balls 100 grams.
• 11 Scheepjes Cahlista Balls 15 gram.
• 1 Tissu of Marie fat quarter pack with 5 pieces of coloured cloth of 50 x 57 cm.
• 1 upholstery needle
• 1 Sheet of stickers
• 1 Thread organiser
• Set of 3 postcards

Additional materials that you will need that are not include in the kit:

• For the crochet version:
  - 2,50 mm crochet
  - 4,00 crochet
  -Cushion filling
  - Stitch marker
• For the knitted version:
  - Knitting needles or 5 mm circular needles
  - 2,50 mm crochet
  - Cushion filling
  - Stitch marker

For the crochet version, you will crochet the cushion, and then embroider the bird in cross-stitch over the stitches for an eye-catching effect. For the tricot version, you will knit in duplicated seam stitch in order to add coloured blue tit motif to the cushion. Its difficulty level is intermediate to advanced, so it will be a new challenge for you!
