Schachenmayr XL Dublin consists of a thick strand of virgin wool and acrylic fibres, formed by a total of 24 strands. A great texture and composition to create warm clothes!

What projects are recommended for Schachenmayr Dublin?

This wool is highly recommended to create warm garments, such as a coat, a cardigan or accessories like hats, snoods and scarves.

You can knit a cap with only one ball! After the label, you will find the explanations for knitting a cap, only in German.

Schachenmayr XL Dublin is made of:

• 70% Acrylic
• 30% Virgin wool

This fibre’s combination offers a rustic texture with a felt effect, a warm fabric that will maintain your body temperature.

You should know that Schachenmayr XL Dublin…

• Each ball has 100 grams and 110 metres.
• Its thickness is named “bulky” perfect to knit with the 7 – 8 mm knitting needles or crochet hook.
• Mount 12 stitches and do 18 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.
• It can be washed in the washing machine up to 30ºC.
• Do not use the dryer. We recommend you to dry it horizontally without hanging out.
• It is not suitable for ironing.

Amount of balls to knit…

• A long sleeve sweater size 40, you will need to use 6 balls approx.
• To knit a cap, you will only need to use 1 ball.
• To knit a scarve, you will need to use 2 balls.
