Schachenmayr Summer Shine

Schachenmayr Summer Shine is a summer yarn made of cotton, viscose, polyamide and polyester.  

This summer yarn combines its colour with silver highlights that add a touch of brightness.

Its strand is made of many threads that are twisted between them, creating a braid form.

Schachenmayr is made of:

• 85% cotton
• 6% viscose
• 6% polyamide
• 3% polyester

The perfect combination of fibres, make Summer Shine a very special and original yarn.

This is a soft, nice yarn thanks to the viscose fibres. It’s also a fresh fabric thanks to the cotton fibres.

It’s an easy-care fabric that can be washed in the washing machine.

You should know that Schachenmayr Summer Shine…   

• Each ball has 50 grams and 145 metres.
• Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 2.5 – 3.5 mm knitting needles and crochet hooks.
• Mount 26 stitches and do 36 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.
• It can be washed in the washing machine up to 30ºC
• Do not use the dryer.
• Do not use the iron.

• Kids – size 6 years, you will need 350 gr.
• Woman – size M, you will need 500 gr.  

To knit a short-sleeved blouse…

• Kids – size 6 years, you will need 300 gr.
• Woman – size M, you will need 400 gr.  

To knit a kid/adult cap you will need 50 grams.

To knit a kid/adult scarf you will need 150 grams.
