Schachenmayr Snowflake

Snowflake by Schachenmayr is a limited edition yarn, very fluffy and thick, perfect to create accessories like hats, scarfs or cowls scarfs.

Its thread is made of a metallic and plaited tail-end, together with springy and carded yarn fibres, creating a sponginess effect.

Your sewing will be dense and very warm with a touch of light thanks to its lamé metallic tail-end.

Schachenmayr Snowflake yarn is made of:

• 36% Yarn
• 36% Acrylic
• 20% Polyamide
• 8% Polyester

Your sewing pieces will be very warm thanks to the yarn fibres. The acrylic fibres, together with the polyamide and polyester achieve a more resistant and long-lasting fabric, as well as flexible and easy-to-wear.

What should I know about Snowflake?

• Each ball has 50 grams and 80 metres.
• SuperBulky thickness! Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 9 - 10 mm. knitting needle or crochet hook. 
• Mount 10 stitches and do 14 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.
• We recommend to wash it manually.
• It cannot be ironed.
• It cannot be putted in the dryer.
• We recommend you to dry it horizontally without hanging the clothes.

How many balls do I need to weave my sewing pieces?

• To weave a hat you will need only 1 ball.
• To weave a scarf, you will need 2 balls.
