Schachenmayr Maki Cotton

Schachenmayr Maki Cotton is a special edition yarn highly recommended to knit home accessories because it’s a strong and rigid material.This yarn is made of cotton and acrylic.

You can knit a basket of 20 cm x 9 cm with only one ball of Maki Cotton.

Its strand is made of many thin threads of different colours that are twisted between them. This yarn offers a multicolour marbled colour.

This yarn offers a wide range of designs, so you can combine all your projects with the same design.

With Maki Cotton, you can knit baskets, fruit bowls, vases, cushions and more home accessories.

Maki Cotton is made of:

• 53% cotton
• 47% acrylic

This yarn is a strong and resistant material thanks to its cotton and acrylic fibres.  

You should know that Maki Cotton…     

• Each ball has 150 grams and 135 metres.
• Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 4.50 mm knitting needles or crochet hooks.
• 1 yarn: 1 needlework.
• Mount 14 stitches and do 22 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.
• Design: marbled yarn in different colours.
• It can be washed in the washing machine up to 40ºC.
• Do not use the dryer. 
• It can be ironed at a low temperature, up to 110ºC.
• Do not use bleach.
• Medium-high thickness.

To knit a basket of 20 cm x 9 cm, you will need 150 gr = 1 yarn.

On the label, you will find a German pattern to knit the basket.
