Schachenmayr Alpaca Couture is a soft, light and easy to work yarn, because it consists of a very strand made of alpaca, cotton and polyamide fibres, which are felted along the ball.
It is available in different shaded colours, as each model varies in tone throughout the ball.
You can combine it with other models in grey, black, blue, pink, beige, wine, mustard, camel... and other colours suitable for the autumn/winter season.
Schachenmayr Alpaca Couture is made of:
- 48% alpaca
- 36% cotton
- 15% polyamide
- 1% elastane
This fibres combination makes the Alpaca Couture a soft, light and very warm yarn, perfect to create warm clothes like pulls, jackets, scarfs, hats or gloves.
Its pleasant feel will provide great comfort when wearing the different pieces made with this Schachenmayr yarn.
Care recommendations:
- Each ball has 25 grams and 113 meters.
- Its thickness is recommended to work with the 3 - 4 mm knitting needles.
- Mount 22 stitches and do 30 rows to knit a 10 x 10 cm gauge.
- Not suitable for machine washing. Hand wash is recommended.
- Do not iron or tumble dry. It is preferable to dry flat without hanging.
