Schachenmayr Alpaca Cloud

Alpaca Cloud by Schachenmayr presentsa light yarn, perfect to weave warm clothes for autumn and winter. It is made of fine alpaca fibres that provides a high quality to the fabric.

The garments made of this yarn will have a warm and fine finish, with a smooth fur all over your sewing. It is perfect to work using both fine and thick knitting needles. Shape it weaving with thick knitting needle and you will have very original laces! If you work with a smaller knitting needle, your sewing will be more warm and dense.

With this yarn, you can create shawls, scarfs and other accessories, as well as extra light garments, such as pullovers, dresses, cardigans and many more.

• 70% Alpaca
• 30% Nylon

Characteristics of Alpaca Cloud:

• Each ball has 25 grams and 225 metres.
• Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 5 - 5,5 mm knitting needles.
• We recommend to wash it manually.
• It cannot be ironed.
• It cannot be putted in the dryer.
• We recommend you to dry it horizontally and to not hang up the clothes.

How many balls do I need to weave my sewing pieces?

• To weave a 18 x 150 cm scarf, you will need 2 balls.
• To weave a hat you will need 1 ball.
• To weave a long sleeves pullover size 40, you will need 5 balls.
