Schachenmayr launches Alpaca Big a twisted and thick yarn especially desgined to work with 15 mm needles. Create XL garments or accessories, such as large scarves, wide jackets, etc. Your creations will be warm and will keep your body temperature steady even on winter days.

Its ply has been twisted on itself. You will find very fine little furs of alpaca along the ball providing extra softness in your garments.

It is available in 7 different shades: neutral and pastel ones. Combine them as you like to create original and trendy works.

Schachenmayr Alpaca Big is made of:

  • 60% Acrylic
  • 40% Alpaca

These two fibers are characterized by their thermal properties. Once combined them, you will get a warm ball. Acrylic fibers also provides strength and lightness to your projects.

Alpaca fibers bring extra softness so you will find it extremely pleasant to the touch.
