It consists of a mixture of merino wool, alpaca, acrylic and polyamide. Merino wool is 100% certified by RWS (Responsible Wool Standard), which guarantees the highest animal welfare standards, a transparent supply chain and sustainable pasture management, making it a sustainable material.

Characteristics of Freundin x Schachenmayr My Big Wool:

  • Each ball contains 100 grams and 50 meters.
  • Thickness indicated for knitting with needles 15 to 20 mm.
  • Mount 8 stitches and do 11 rows to knit a 10 x 10 cm gauge.
  • Hand wash.
  • Ironed at medium temperature.
  • Do not tumble dry.

Amount of balls needed to:

  • 3 balls for a scarf.
  • 1 ball for a hat.
  • 10 balls for a size 42 sweater.
