Freundin x Schachenmayr My Big Wool is a high quality wicking wool, ideal for working projects quickly thanks to its high thickness. It is suitable for working with thick needles, so in a few moments you will have finished your sewing needlework.
This wool is the result of the collaboration between the brands Schachenmayr and Freundin. With My Big Wool, you can give life to soft and fluffy accessories for autumn and winter, both for you and to decorate the home.
It consists of a mixture of merino wool, alpaca, acrylic and polyamide. Merino wool is 100% certified by RWS (Responsible Wool Standard), which guarantees the highest animal welfare standards, a transparent supply chain and sustainable pasture management, making it a sustainable material.
A prominent feature of My Big Wool is the naturalness of wool, as it has not been treated. This highlights its softness and sponge, offering welcoming and comfortable results in every project you make.

- 45% Polyamide
- 29% Wool
- 19% Acrylic
- 7% Alpaca
Characteristics of Freundin x Schachenmayr My Big Wool:
- Each ball contains 100 grams and 50 meters.
- Thickness indicated for knitting with needles 15 to 20 mm.
- Mount 8 stitches and do 11 rows to knit a 10 x 10 cm gauge.
- Hand wash.
- Ironed at medium temperature.
- Do not tumble dry.
Amount of balls needed to:
- 3 balls for a scarf.
- 1 ball for a hat.
- 10 balls for a size 42 sweater.
