Rowan Alpaca Soft DK is made of:

• 70% Merino virgin wool
• 30% Baby Alpaca

The virgin wool contains a high percentage of merino extrafine and merino superfine fibres. Both are high quality fibres. This yarn also contains baby alpaca, a soft, fine fibre obtained from the first shearing of the animal.

This yarn is characterised by its softness thanks to its thin threads.

Alpaca Soft offers a soft and comfortable touch thanks to the combination of its natural fibres.

You should know that Rowan Alpaca Soft DK…   

• Each ball has 50 grams and 125 metres.
• Its DK thickness is perfect to knit with the 4 mm knitting needles or crochet hooks.
• Mount 22 stitches and do 30 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.
• We recommend you to wash only by hand.
• Do not use the dryer. We recommend you to dry it horizontally without hanging out.
• It can be ironed at a low temperature.

• To knit a cap -> 100 grams.   
• To knit a pair of socks -> 150 grams.   
• To knit a baby sweater -> 200 grams.
• To knit a scarf -> 350 grams.
• To knit a long sleeve sweater for adult -> 650 grams.
