Regia Tweed 4-ply

Schachenmayr Regia Tweed – 4 ply is an original marbledyarn that offers a tweed effect with small specks along the ball.

This yarn is made of high-quality fibres, such as polyamide, viscose and virgin wool making it an easy-care fabric that can be washed, dried and ironed.

Its strand is composed of 4 fine threads that are twisted between them, forming a fine, warm strand perfect for knitting all kind of autumn/winter clothes and accessories.

This yarn has been specially designed for knitting socks, but you can also knit sweaters, scarves, snoods, etc.

Regia is made of:

• 70% virgin wool
• 25% polyamide
• 5% viscose

This wool is characterised by its warmth and thermal properties thanks to the virgin wool fibres.

The polyamide makes it a resistant and long-lasting yarn, while the viscose brings it a softer fabric perfect for the skin.

You should know that Tweed – 4 ply … 

• Each ball has 100 grams and 400 metres.
• Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 2 – 3 mm knitting needles or crochet hooks.
• Mount 30 stitches and do 42 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.
• It can be washed in the washing machine up to 40ºC.
• You can use the dryer. 
• It can be ironed at a low temperature, up to 110ºC.

• With only 1 ball of Tweed 4ply you can create a pair of socks up to size 46.
• To knit a long sleeve sweater size 40, you will need 500 gr = 5 balls approx.
