Regia Classic - 4 ply

Schachenmayr Regia Classic – 4 ply is a high-quality, warm and resistant yarn made of polyamide and virgin wool fibres. This product can be washed, dried and ironed.

There’s a wide range of solid colours available, but each yarn offers a denim or washed out effect.

Classic 4-ply is a limited-edition yarn specially designed for knitting warm socks, but you can also knit many others autumn/winter clothes and accessories, such as shawls, sweaters, caps, scarves, etc.

To knit a pair of socks up to size 46, you will only need one ball. 

To knit a long sleeve sweater size 40, you will need 500 gr = 5 balls approx.

Its fine strand is made of 4 twisted threads.  

Regia is made of:

• 75% virgin wool
• 25% polyamide

This is a high-quality yarn thanks to the composition of its fibres, making it a resistant fabric perfect for the washing machine, dryer and iron.

Once you knit your own clothes, you would realise that it’s a very warm fabric perfect for the coldest season.

It’s a long-lasting yarn that won’t lose its shape easily.  

You should know that Classic …     

• Each ball has 100 grams and 420 metres.
• Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 2 – 3 mm knitting needles or crochet hooks.
• Mount 30 stitches and do 42 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.
• It can be washed in the washing machine up to 40ºC.
• You can use the dryer. 
• It can be ironed at a low temperature, up to 110ºC.
