Soave Star from Mondial is a soft touch yarn, which combines natural and synthetic fibres throughout its medium-thickness ply. Its gradient design will allow you to create warm and original projects for next winter.

Detailed information
Mondial Soave Star is a warm and high quality yarn. It comes from the blend of natural mate-rials, such as merino and alpaca fibers with some synthetic fibers, such as polyamide ones. Its ply has been twisted creating a tubular effect.
It is available in 10 different shades: dark, light, cheerful, neutral... Find your favourite one! Its design consists of a soft marbling which will create an original colour progression in your au-tumn/winter garments or accessories.
Mondial Soave Star is made of:
- 65% Extrafine merino virgin wool
- 25% Baby Alpaca
- 10% PA microfiber
The virgin merino wool is a fine fiber which is obtained from the first shearing of the merino sheep. Concerning the baby alpaca, it has also been obtained from the first shearing of an alpaca. These fibers are characterized by its high quality.
Create warm garments with excellent thermal properties that will take care of your skin. In addition, these fibers bring a bright touch to the ball.
Some polyamide fibers have been added to this blend providing extra comfort, flexibility and strength to your garments.
Which are the features of Mondial Soave Irish?
- Each ball has 50 grams and 240 metres.
- Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 4 - 5 mm knitting needles or crochet hooks.
- Mount 20 stitches and do 25 rows to knit a 10 x 10 cm gauge.
- Hand washing.
- Do not dry.
- Dry flat.
- Iron at up to 110ºC.
Amount of balls needed to:
- To knit a kid sweater size 10 years you will need 3 - 4 balls approx.
- To knit a sweater size 42 you will need 5 - 6 balls approx.
- To knit a sweater size 48 you will need 7 - 8 balls approx.
