Mondial Setoso

Mondial Setoso is a fluffy, warm, nice yarn, perfect for knitting many autumn/winter clothes and accessories.

Its strand is made of many threads that are twisted between them forming a compact yarn that will not fall apart.

Thanks to its fluffy texture, your projects knitted with Setoso will be very comfortable and easy to wear.

It’s available in solid colours such as red, navy blue or black, and marbled colours that have a gradient touch and mix different shades along the ball.

Mondial Setoso is made of:  

• 70% extrafine merino virgin wool
• 25% baby alpaca
• 5% PA microfibre

Setoso is a yarn made of high-quality fibres. The main part of its composition is made of fine merino wool fibres that has thermal properties that will keep you warm.

This yarn contains alpaca, a soft, warm fibre obtained from the first shearing of the animal.

You should know that Mondial Setoso…

• Each ball has 50 grams and 110 metres.
• Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 5.5 – 6.5 mm knitting needles.
• Mount 15 stitches and do 22 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square with the 6 mm knitting needles.
• It is advisable to wash by hand.
• It can be ironed at a medium temperature, up to 110ºC.
• Do not use the dryer. We recommend you to dry it horizontally without hanging out.

To knit a long sleeve sweater…

• Kids – size 10 years, you will need 350 – 400 gr = 7 - 8 balls approx.
• Adult – size 42, you will need 500 – 550 gr = 10 - 11 balls approx.
• Adult – size 48, you will need 650 – 700 gr = 13 - 14 balls.
