Mondial Nilo 5

Mondial Nilo 5 is a fine, mercerised cotton yarn with a bright finish. Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 3 – 3.5 mm knitting needles or crochet hooks. Each yarn has 100 grams.

This yarn is perfect for knitting baby, children or adult clothes with the knitting needles or crochet hooks. This yarn is normally used for knitting baby clothes, such as bodies, romper suits, bootees, baby blankets, bedspreads, etc. It’s also perfect for knitting tops and dresses for summer.

This is a very fine and soft yarn perfect for knitting garments for the spring/summer season.

Mondial Nilo 5 is made of:

• 100% Mercerized Egyptian Cotton.

The cotton fibres will keep you warm in winter and fresh in summer, so you can use this wool at any time of the year.

This Perlé 5 yarn has a mercerized cotton treatment that it’s different from the "common" cotton for different reasons.

These fibres will allow you to create fine and long threads, providing a strong cotton, but also soft and comfortable.

You should know that…

• Each ball has 100 grams and 280 metres.
• Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 3 – 3.5 mm knitting needles or crochet hooks.
• Mount 29 stitches and do 38 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.  
• It can be washed in the washing machine up to 40ºC. 
• Do not use the dryer. We recommend you to dry it horizontally.
• It can be ironed at a low temperature.
• Do not use bleach.

• Kids – size 10 years, you will need 200 – 250 gr.
• Adult – size 38, you will need 300 – 350 gr.
• Adult – size 42, you will need 450 – 500 gr.
