Mondial Merino Sport New is made of pure merino wool and includes a superwash treatment making it washing friendly. This yarn is very versatile and suitable to knit all type of warm projects for winter.

Its composition, touch and texture make it perfect for children, so you can knit sweaters, cardigans, and more!

This yarn is made up of 4 plies very resistant and soft. Its superwash treatment and torsion will prevent lints from appearing.

  • 100% pure merino wool

Which are the features of this yarn?

  • Each ball has 50 grams and 120 meters.
  • Its thickness is ideal to work with the 4 – 4.5 mm knitting needles or crochet hook.
  • Mount 20 stitches and do 22 rows to knit a 10 x 10cm gauge.
  • Washable at up to 30ºC.
  • Iron at up to 110ºC.
  • Do not tumble dry.

Amount of balls needed to:

  • To knit a long-sleeved sweater size M for women you will need around 8 – 9 balls.
  • To knit a long-sleeved sweater size M for men you will need around 12 – 13 balls.
  • To knit a sweater size 10 for children you will need around 6 – 7 balls.
