Mondial Merino Soft

Mondial Merino Soft is a mixture of merino wool and acrylic, suitable to knit warm clothes for autumn and winter, for children and adults.

The merino wool fibre is very soft. It is obtained from the first shearing of the animal in a respectful way, so you will get a very fine and soft hair. It has the Superwash treatment that eliminates the furs that come out of the yarn and makes it more polished and soft. This treatment also allows you to wash it in the washing machine without any problem.

The acrylic is added to make it more resistant to the use and the washings, avoiding balls and fluffs on your creations.

Merino Soft is perfect to knit pulls, cardigans, dresses, scarves and all kinds of winter projects. You have a large colour palette to choose your favourite one.

• 52% Merino virgin wool
• 48% Acrylic microfibre

Which are the features of Mondial Merino Soft?

• Each ball has 50 grams and 125 meters.
• Its thickness is recommended to work with the 3 – 4 mm knitting needles.
• Mount 23 stitches and do 31 rows to knit a 10 x 10 cm gauge.
• Machine washing at 30ºC maximum.
• Ironing is allowed.
• Do not tumble dry.

Amount of balls needed to…

• To make a woman pull size M, you will need 8 - 10 balls.
• To knit a man pull size, you will need 12 - 14 balls.
• To knit a kid pull size 10 years old, you will need 6 - 8 balls.
