Mondial Merino Plus

Mondial Merino Plus is a bulky yarn you can use to create garments and accessories for winter such as pullovers, hats, shawls, snoods or waistcoats among others.

This yarn consists of 4 thin threads twisted together.

Besides, its fibres have been treated with the Superwash process which will allow you to wash easily your projects.

Mondial Merino Plus composition:

• 52% virgin merino wool
• 48% acrylic

Virgin merino wool fibres make this yarn soft and fluffy so that you can create comfortable pieces.

Thanks to acrylic fibres you can knit high-quality and resistant projects.

Mondial Merino Plus characteristics:

• Each ball has about 100 grammes and 125 metres of yarn approximately.
• Recommended knitting needles and crochet hooks size: 5.5-6.5 mm.
• Tension square: 10×10 cm (4×4 inches) with 6 mm knitting needles, 18 stitches x 20 rows.
• Machine wash at 30ºC maximum.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Flat drying recommended.
• It can be ironed at a moderate temperature (110º C). 

Grammes needed to knit projects with Mondial Merino Plus:

• To knit a pullover for children, size 10 years, you will need about 400-500 grammes (4-5 balls).
• To knit a pullover for women, size 42, you will need about 500-600 grammes (5-6 balls).
• To knit a pullover for men, size 48, you will need about 700-800 grammes (7-8 balls).
