Mondial Australia Stampe

Mondial Australia Stampe is made of superwash pure wool, an excellent fiber suitable for all skins. It is obtained from the first shearing of the sheep, so the hairs are thinner and softer compared to those you can get after.

This yarn presents a subtle rustic aspect, but thanks to the superwash treatment it is very soft to the touch. This natural fiber will not irritate your skin and can be washed by machine with the delicate wool program. Available in marbled colors forming stripes as long as you knit.

This yarn is an excellent option to knit warm clothes such as sweaters for children and adults, jackets, scarves, hats, mittens, and more! You can even make blankets, cushions, and other home decorations.

Which are the features of this yarn?

• Each ball has 50 grams and 100 meters.
• Its thickness is perfect to work with the 4 - 5 mm knitting needles.
• Mount 21 stitches and do 28 rows to knit a 10 x 10 cm gauge.
• Superwash treatment.
• Washable at up to 30ºC with products without bleach.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Dry flat recommended.
• Iron at up to 110ºC.

Amount of balls needed to:

• To knit a sweater size 10 for children you will need 6-7  balls (300-350 grams).
• To knit a sweater size 38 for women  you will need 8-9 balls (400-450 grams).
• To knit a sweater size 42 for men  you will need 10-11 balls (500-550 grams).
