Mondial Argento is a type of Egyptian cotton yarn with a subtle sheen. Composed of 85% Egyptian cotton and 15% metallic polyester, its lightweight chainette structure offers softness, durability and excellent stitch definition, while the subtle sparkle of its metallic fiber adds a sleek, elegant and modern finish.

Perfect for stylish and cool projects, Mondial Argento is the ideal choice for knitting spring or summer garments such as tops, sweaters, dresses and other sophisticated ideas.

Features of Mondial Argento:

  • Composition: 85% Egyptian Cotton - 15% Metallic Polyester.
  • Each ball contains 50 grams and 160 metres.
  • Recommended thickness for knitting with 4 to 5 mm knitting needles or 3 to 3.5 mm crochet hooks.
  • For a 10 x 10 cm tension sample, you need 22 stitches and 30 rows.
  • Wash at a maximum of 30ºC.
  • Iron at a low temperature.
  • Do not use a dryer.

How many balls do I need to knit my projects?

  • To knit a M-size sweater, you will need about 8 - 9 balls.
  • To knit a XL sweater, you will need about 10 - 11 balls.
  • To knit a children's sweater in the size 10 years old, you will need about 6 - 7 balls.
