Algashine by Plassard is an alpaca and silk yarn with a smooth and fine hair fur combining different colours with a metallic thread. Create bright garments with a glamorous touch!

Its hair fur finish is very pleasant to the touch. Despite its lightness, the fur acts like a insulation against cold, so your garments will be fine, light and warm.

Fibers of Plassard Algashine yarn:

• 71% Alpaca
• 15% Silk
• 7% Polyester

The fibres are the responsible of its high softness. The combination of alpaca with silk creates this smooth hair fur so fine, making this fanciful yarn very special.

The polyester is the responsible of shaping the metallic thread, that combines with the little hair fur, resulting in a perfect sheen effect.

Features of Algashine by Plassard:

• Each ball has 25 grams and 210 metres.
• Its thickness is perfect to weave with a 3,5 mm. knitting needle.
• Mount 21 stitches and do 36 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.
• You can use the washing machine at low temperature, up to 30º.
• It can be ironed with carefulness at low temperature.
• It cannot be putted in the dryer.

How many balls do I need to weave my sewing pieces?

• You can weave a cowl with one ball.
• To weave a long-sleeve pullover (size L) you will need 5 balls.
• To weave a shawl you will need between 3 and 4 balls.
