MAXI Rectangular Loom - Prym

The MAXI rectangular loom by Prym is very easy to use, as it has a rectangular wooden board measuring 48x14 centimetres with small pegs through which you can join threads and form a unique hand-woven design.

You can make rectangles of different sizes. One of the sides will always measure 11 centimetres, while the longer side can vary between 22.5 mm, 27.5 mm, 32.5 mm, 37 mm, 42 mm or 46.5 mm.

By joining several of these pieces you will be able to create scarves, bags, ponchos, shawls and other original garments.

The threads or yarns that are recommended to use are from 1 to 8 mm.

Moreover, it is recommended to make the pieces without tightening the thread.

What does this tool include?

• A 48 x 14 cm board with 44 holes where you can place the pegs yourself to weave the piece you want.
• 50 wooden pegs of 3.5 cm in length.
• 1 plastic yarn needle.
• Instructions in German, English, French, French, Dutch, Italian, Spanish and Russian.

Basic instructions on the sequence of work to be followed to make a standard rolled piece step by step, accompanied by explanatory images are included. It also explains the knotting technique, colour variations and finishing.
