Prym MAXI Braiding Star

Prym MAXI Braiding Star is perfect to knit braids, laces for glasses, handles for bags, belts, bracelets and necklaces.  

This product has a small hole in the centre where you must place the threads that you use to knit your project (a maximum of 7 strands). Then, you should pass every thread into the slots over the star.

Each slot measures 4 mm, so the thread can not be thicker.

This product includes a small book of instructions explaining how to create a cordon in 8 steps.  

These threads should always be knitted in the same direction to prevent them from becoming entangled with each other.

Features:

• This braiding star is made of wood. It contains a central hole of 2 cm wide and 8 slots of 4 mm over the star.
• Dimensions: 9.5 x 9.5 cm.
• This braiding star version will allow you to use thicker threads thanks to its slots.
• You can knit many projects, crafts, decorative items and more.  

Advice: the package includes an elastic band to hold all the threads you used to make the braid.You’ll find a picture explaining you how to place the elastic band.

If the smallest braiding star version is very small for you, you can use the MAXI braiding star version.

Warning: if you put all the threads in the same slot, you’ll have a knot that cannot be undone. If you want to finish your project, you should make a knot in the middle of the star.
