T-Pins - CocoKnits

The T-Pins by CocoKnits are perfect to block and stretch your knitted pieces. They will help you provide the perfect shape to your creations.

You can use them to block in wet, and with spray or steam, as they do not rust. They are made of stainless steel, a material that prevents them from rusting when they get wet during blocking.

In each box you will find 40 T-Pins to block. You can use them with blocking mats or on any surface where you can easily place them.

Blocking instructions:

You can block your knitted pieces to provide the perfect shape to them. Before blocking them, you need to keep in mind the material you are working with.

• Block in wet: Ideal for synthetic materials. You must wash the garment in a container with a little water and softener, remove the moisture and place it on a surface where we can place the T-Pins. When you have it stretched, hook the T-pins to hold and let it dry completely.
• Block with steam: Ideal for cotton materials. Moisten your work a little and place it on a surface. Stretch it with the help of the T-Pins and place a towel or cloth on top. With an iron spray with steam on top (do not iron, just expose it to steam at a distance of 3 cms).
• Block with spray: Ideal for fine garments. With a vaporizer or spray, moisten the garment a little with warm water. Hold it with the T-Pins and let it dry.
