Katia WOW Chunky is a roving wool made up of 1 thick thread which is subtly twisted. This yarn is recommended to knit with knitting needles of 10mm, so you can knit lots of projects quick and easily!

This yarn combines wool, acrylic, and alpaca fibers, so it is very soft to the touch and ideal to knit scarves, hats, blankets, oversize sweaters, jackets, vests, and other warm accessories.

Since its thread is subtly twisted, you need to keep the correct tension during your work to not separate the fibers.

This yarn is designed to knit a hat with a single ball, a clutch with 2 balls, and a double cowl with 3 balls.

Katia WOW Chunky is made of:

  • 75% acrylic
  • 15% wool
  • 10% alpaca

Which are the features of this yarn?

  • Each ball has 100 grams and 75 meters.
  • Its thickness is ideal to work with the 9 – 10mm knitting needles or with the 10 – 12mm crochet hook.
  • Mount 18 stitches and do 24 rows to knit a 10 x 10 cm gauge.
  • Washable at up to 30ºC with the wool spin cycle.
  • Do not tumble dry.
  • Iron at up to 110ºC.
