Katia Tufter

Katia Tufter is a 4-ply yarn made of acrylic and wool. It is specially designed for the textile technique of Tufting, which is perfect for creating wool patterns in large format projects, such as rugs and tapestries. This technique consists of inserting strands of yarn through a fabric base using a tool called a tufting gun.

This yarn offers strength and durability in your textile projects. It is available in cones of 400 grams and a wide range of 22 vibrant colours, allowing you to choose your favourites to develop your creative ideas comfortably.

To work on your tufting tapestries, in addition to the Katia Tufter yarn, you will need a tufting gun, a wooden frame, fabric canvas, marker pen or pencil to draw on the fabric, glue or textile glues, and tools such as scissors, a shearing machine and a hoover. The Katia Tufter range allows you to make unique creations, with limitless imagination. You can add colour and life to your projects with this yarn.

Each cone of Katia Tufter contains 400 grams and approximately 500 metres. This yarn is perfect to work with the tufting gun, but you can also use it to knit or crochet. It is recommended to use knitting needles of 6-7 mm or a crochet hook of 6,5-7 mm.
