Katia Sparkling Alpaca

Katia Sparkling Alpaca belongs to the Concept collection of the brand and is mainly made of superfine alpaca fibers. This yarn stands out for its characteristic flamé aspect, which combines different thicknesses along its thread.

Its different thicknesses are achieved by different degrees of twisting of the fibers. In some sections the fibers are compacted and in others they are joined in a lighter way, which provides thin and thick sections. Ideal to knit unique textures!

To knit this type of wool, it is recommended to knit each stitch in the thin area of the yarn, leaving the thick sections unknitted. This achieves the flamé effect and pompom texture so characteristic of Sparkling Alpaca.
