Katia Somnium

This is a large yarn, as it has 150 grams and 450 meters. You will need a few balls to knit all your projects! With only one ball you can knit a big shawl and with two you can knit a size 42 sweater!

Katia Somnium is made of:

• 42% superfine alpaca
• 34% cotton
• 23% polyamide
• 1% polyester

The superfine alpaca fibers are extremely soft, and they are very thin, perfect to provide a pleasant touch. Thanks to them you will feel warm and cozy in the coldest days of the year. Thanks to these fibers you will knit hairy projects.

These fibers combined with cotton provide breathability features to the yarn.

Which are the features of this yarn?

• Each ball has 150 grams and 450 meters.
• Its thickness is perfect to work with the 5 – 5,5 mm knitting needles or with the 5,5 – 6 mm crochet hooks.
• Mount 17 stitches and do 22 rows to knit a 10 x 10 cm gauge.
• Handwash recommended.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Iron at low temperature.

• To knit a long-sleeved sweater size 42 you will need around 42 balls.
• To knit a shawl you will only need 1 ball.
