Katia presents Scandinavia, a ball of Merino yarn and Alpaca, perfect for the whole family. This autumn and winter ball stands out by Merino wool warmth together with Alpaca superfine softness. Since it is so smooth to the touch, it will not harm sensitive skins, such as the children’s skin.

Katia Scandinavia is made of:

• 85% Merino Superwash
• 15% Superfine Alpaca

Merino wool is a natural fibre that comes from the first shorn of Merino sheep. This wool stands out by its warmth, but also by its softness. In this case, it is also Superwash, which means it is easy to machine wash and softer to the touch.

Regarding Alpaca, it is a very thin, warm material that provides comfort and lightness. You will find it really smooth to the touch!

Which are the features of this yarn?

• Each ball weighs 100 grams and has 230 meters.
• Its thickness is perfect to knit with 3.5 mm or 4 mm knitting needles or crochet hooks.
• Mount 23 stitches and do 30 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square with 3.5 mm knitting needles.
• Machine wash up to 30ºC.
• Do not use bleach.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Dry flat.
• Iron up to 110ºC.
