Katia Melody Star

Katia Melody Star is a merino yarn which is available in gradient shades. Its thread is combined with a lamé fiber in order to provide a slight glitter on your creations.

You can make unique and special clothes such as sweaters, coats, blankets and any other winter projects with an elegant touch.

Its design gradually changes from a dark colour to a light one of the same range of shades.

Katia Melody Star is made from…

• 84% Merino wool
• 10% Polyamide
• 6% Metallic polyester

This yarn is almost entirely made of merino wool, a high quality, soft and warm fiber that regulates your body temperature and helps keep it at a stable temperature.

The polyamide fibers will make your projects more comfortable, flexible and wearable.

The metallic polyester gives shape to the metallic thread.

You should know that Katia Melody Star…

• Each ball has 100 grams and 280 metres.
• Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 5,5 – 6 mm knitting needles or the 4,5 – 5 mm crochet hooks.
• Mount 15 stitches and do 21 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.
• We recommend to hand washing this yarn.
• You cannot use the dryer.
• It can be ironned at a low temperature, up to 110ºC.

Amount of balls needed to…

• To knit a long sleeve sweater size 42 you will need 3 balls.
• To knit a waistcoat size 40 you will need 2 balls.
