Katia Lopapeysa

Katia Lopapeysa is a multicolor yarn made of pure wool and acrylic. Its color combinations will let you provide a jacquard design to your creations. Each ball has 400 grams making it perfect to knit garments by using only one unit. 

This yarn is designed for you to create a jacquard sweater by following a pattern. This one will let you form colorful lines and stripes inspired by the Icelandic style.

The different colors will appear on the upper part of the sweater and the rest will be knitted by using the plain color of the ball.

Katia Lopapeysa is made of:

• 70% pure wool
• 30% acrylic

Which are the features of this yarn?

• Each ball has 400 grams and around 960 meters.
• Its thickness is perfect to work with the 3,5 – 4 mm knitting needles.
• Mount 21 stitches and do 26 rows to knit a 10 x 10 cm gauge.
• Washable at up to 30ºC with products without bleach.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Dry flat recommended.
• Iron at up to 110ºC.

• To knit a long-sleeved sweater for women size 38 you will need 1 ball.

To knit other sizes, you can use Katia Lopapeysa Basic available in plain colors to make your sweaters longer or wider.
