Katia Aqua

Katia Aqua is made of 50% cotton and 50% recycled polyester. This is a good option for those concerned about the environment and willing to help clean the oceans.

The recycled polyester is obtained thanks to the Sequal Initiative, a platform willing to reduce ocean pollution. So far, it has managed to reduce 200 tons of marine pollution to transform it into Upcycled Marine Plastic, the recycled polyester fiber of which this yarn is made.

The cotton provides the material a soft, cool and breathable touch, and the recycled polyester provides properties such as waterproofing, flexibility and high wear resistance, making your cotton much more durable and comfortable!

Aqua's color chart features different marbled shades. The structure of the yarn is formed by chains.

• 50% cotton
• 50% upcycled marine plastic recycled polyester

Which are the features of this yarn?

• Each ball has 50 grams and 100 meters.
• Its thickness is perfect to work with the 3.5 - 4 mm knitting needles or with the 4 - 4.5 mm crochet hook.
• Mount 20 stitches and do 27 rows to knit a 10 x 10 cm gauge.
• Washable at up to 30ºC with the short spin cycle.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Iron at low temperature
