Katia Alexandria is a very soft perlé thread with a high quality result. It is a versatile yarn! Ideal for creating clothes or accessories for the whole family, both babies and children as well as adults.

Katia Alexandria is made of:

• 100% combed, gassed and mercerized cotton.

These treatments provide a unique result, perfectly polished, uniform and with a very subtle brightness.

When the cotton is combed, impurities are removed, resulting in clean and high-quality fibers. After the gasification and mercerization treatment, a uniform and lint-free thread is obtained, which prevents the fuzz formation on the surface of your garments. This process is known as Anti-pilling.

These treatments make the yarn perfect for coming into contact with babies.

Which are the features of Katia Alexandria?

• Each ball has 100 grams and 400 metres.
• Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 2.5 mm knitting needles or 1.75 - 2 mm crochet hooks.
• Mount 32 stitches and do 48 rows to knit a 10 x 10 cm gauge.
• Machine wash up to 30ºC.
• Do not dry.
• Iron at low temperature.
