ITO introduces Sensai, a yarn combining mohair and silk resulting in a shiny ball. You can knit sweaters, cardigans, shawls, scarves, and everything you can imagine!

You will get shiny and elegant results! Your projects will be very soft, lightweight, and warm at the same time.

This is a fine thread, perfect to work individually or with double thread. You can combine it with Kinu by ITO thanks to its 100% silk composition, but also with other wool or cashmere yarns.

Sensai ITO is made of:

  • 40% silk
  • 60% mohair

The silk is a light material which will protect you from cold temperatures. You will find it very soft and pleasant to the touch.

The mohair will provide warmness and comfort to your projects.

Which are the features of this yarn?

  • Each ball has 20 grams and 240 meters.
  • Its thickness is perfect to work with the 3,5 – 5 mm knitting needles or crochet hooks.
  • Weight: lace / 2 plies.
  • Mount 18 stitches and do 25 rows to knit a 10 x 10 cm gauge.
  • Handwash recommended.
  • Do not tumble dry.
  • Do not bleach.
  • Dry flat.
