Isager Silk Mohair

Isager introduces Silk Mohair, a yarn combining high-quality fibers all around its thread of mohair kid and silk. Thanks to this combination of natural materials, we get a soft and fluffy yarn which will make you feel very cozy and will also protect you from cold temperatures.

This yarn is perfect for all type of project: shawls, scarves, hats, jackets, sweaters, and much more. You can work with it individually or combine it with another thread to get even warmer and more original results.

Isager Silk Mohair is made of:

• 25% silk
• 75% kid mohair

The combination of these two fibers makes this yarn very soft to the touch thanks to its long hair. The silk will provide a subtle shiny touch to your garments and accessories.

The kid mohair will keep you warm, and the silk will make it more resistant.

Which are the features of this yarn?

• Each ball has 25 grams and around 212 meters.
• Its thickness is perfect to work with the 3,5 – 4 mm knitting needles. 
• Weight: lace / 2 plies.
• Mount 18 stitches and do 25 rows to knit a 10 x 10 cm gauge.
• Handwash without bleach.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Dry flat recommended.

Amount of balls needed to:

• To knit a 46 x 192 cm scarf you will need around 8 balls.
• To knit a 26 x 183 cm foulard you will need around 4 balls.
