Durable Mohair

Durable Mohair is a yarn made from a luxurious blend of mohair, acrylic and wool. Mohair comes from Angora sheeps and is known for its softness and strength, guaranteeing the quality of your work!

The mohair fibres have insulating and absorbing properties, so they insulate you from the cold and absorb the humidity of your body. This will keep you warm but will prevent sweating so you will be totally comfortable.

The strand is made by a short and soft fur, that will achieve original textures in your creations. It is especially designed for creating pulls or light jackets, shawls, scarfs, bonnets and many other ideas for autumn and winter.

Durable Mohair is made of:

• 25% Mohair
• 55% Premium acrylic
• 20% Wool

Which are the features of Durable Mohair?

• Each ball has 50 grams and 190 meters.
• Its thickness is recommended to work with the 2.5 - 3.5 mm knitting needles.
• Mount 9 stitches and do 16 rows to knit a 10 x 10 cm gauge.
• Machine washing at temperatures up to 30ºC.
• Tumble drying is not allowed.
• Ironing is not allowed.
