Magazine DMC Just Knitting - Magnum & Magnum Tweed

The DMC Just Knitting catalogue contains three patterns for knitting three fantastic designs with DMC's Magnum and Magnum Tweed yarns. Each of these designs contains beautiful fancy and braided stitches explained step by step, which will give you a very elegant end result.

Which patterns are in the DMC Just Knitting catalogue?

• Model Andrew: a long-sleeved children sweater with a hood and Irish pattern.
• Model Brad: a long-sleeved men V-neck sweater with braids on the sleeves and Irish stitch.
• Model Donegal: a 100 x 140 cm blanket with a braided Irish pattern.

The three projects are explained to be made with Magnum Tweed or Magnum. The first one has a nice tweed design with small hairs and coloured fibres around the main strand. This design gives a nice range of marbled colors, ideal for all ages.

Its composition includes acrylic, wool and viscose, which gives a pleasant and warm touch, and a very nice quality.

DMC Magnum wool is available in eight colours and in beautiful shades for any member of the family.

Both wools are offered in XXL balls of 400 grams and 840 meters. To follow the patterns of this catalogue, you will need only few balls.

How many balls do I need to make these patterns?

• To make the sweater Andrew for little boy in sizes 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 years old, you will need 1 ball for size 6 and 2 balls for the other sizes.
• To make the sweater for man Brad, you will need 1 ball for size S and 2 balls for size M, L or XL.
• To make the Donegal blanket, you will need 2 balls. It will weigh 600 grams when finished.
