Casasol Macramé Outdoor 3mm

Casasol Macramé Outdoor 3mm is a 3mm thick cord, specially designed for outdoor macramé accessories. Its exceptional weather resistance makes it an ideal choice for creating macramé accessories for the garden or outdoor areas, such as sun loungers, baskets, parasols and planters. In addition, it can also be used indoors and combined with other 3 mm macramé yarns due to its uniform thickness.

This yarn is made of 100% TASLAN PP, a recycled polypropylene which is a synthetic yarn based on olefins. It is a material that resists very well to wear and tear during exposure to solar radiation and also prevents colour fading. Thanks to the special additives and pigments used in its production, the yarn offers high protection against sun and weather conditions, as well as exceptional colour fastness.

Casasol Macramé Outdoor 3mm has been subjected to rigorous sunlight resistance tests in the laboratory. The ISO 105-B04 colour fastness test, which simulates exposure to artificial weathering, and the ASTM G154 test with UV lamps to simulate the destructive effect of UV wavelengths have been carried out. These tests guarantee a colour fastness of 8 out of 10 and minimal degradation of the material after 1,500 hours of exposure to weathering and sunlight.

The yarn is 3 mm thick and comes in 540 gram reels of 100 metres in length. With this macramé yarn, you can create durable and resistant projects.
